Celebrating our 25th Anniversary reminds us of our values to serve our customers nothing but the best. MGM Edible Oils has grown on the foundation to cater to the needs of our customers and provide them with traditional, high-quality cooking oils consistently.
Company History
Honourable Chairman Shri Mukkaiah Chettiar Gunasekarapandian began his journey as an oil trader in 1986. He identified the demand for cooking oil and aimed to supply the best quality edible oil. He started with Kalaimaan oil. His strong business insight and diligence contributed to the growth of the company.
He began in Sattur and expanded to become one of the market leaders, and with great perseverance grew what is today known as MGM Edible Oils. MGM Edible Oils serves the wholesale and retail markets and has a wide distribution in South India. The company started with a five-member team and today is a family of over 500 employees across its refineries and corporate offices.

Infrastructural Strength
Our robust refinery plants have a processing capacity of 2 Lakhs MT of CPO per year. The facility can pack up to 5 lakh pouches per day and has a storage unit with a collective capacity of 21000 MT. The premises have a well equipped laboratory to continuously monitor the quality of the oil.
